Mevo’ot LeSifrut HaTanaim (Introductions to Tannaitic Literature) is a 20th-century work by renowned Talmud scholar Jacob Nachum Epstein. It includes introductions to the Mishnah and Tosefta, introductions to 18 tractates of the Mishnah, and an introduction to halakhic (legal) midrashim. Originally compiled as lectures delivered by Epstien, the work was edited and published posthumously at Epstein’s request by his student, Ezra Melamed.
