About This Text
Author: Yechezkel Panet
Composed: c.1800 – c.1840 CE
Mareh Yechezkel is a collection of Torah commentary, sermons, and haggadah commentary of Rabbi Yechezkel Panet, a leading rabbi in 19th-century Romania and founder of the Dayzh chasidic dynasty. Rabbi Panet’s grandchildren published the work posthumously, gleaning material from manuscripts of Rabbi Yechezkel’s writing and from smaller published works.
