Tractate Tamid (“Daily Burnt Offering”) is a tractate within Seder Kodashim (“Order of Holy Things”). It discusses the daily Temple service, with a focus on the burnt-offerings brought every morning and afternoon. The mishnayot (plural of mishnah) of Tamid stand out from those of other tractates in that they contain almost no disputes, instead telling a narrative about what happened in the Temple.
