חבוש – תפארת: Ḥavush (“Put On” [the Head]). Tiferet.

חביון – כתר, או ג׳‎ ראשונות: Ḥayon (“Secret Place”). Keter or the three first [sefirot].

חבל – תפארת: Ḥevel (“Rope”). Tiferet.

חבית – בינה: Ḥavit (“Barrel”). Binah.

חבצלת – מלכות: Ḥavaẓelet (“Lily”). Malkhut.

חג – מלכות: Ḥag (“Holiday”). Malkhut.

חדרים – ז׳‎ מדות נעלמות שבבינה: Ḥadarim (“Rooms”). Seven [lower sefirotic] qualities hidden within Binah.

חדש – במלכות המתחדשת: Ḥadash (“New”). In Malkhut which renews [herself].

חזה – בינה: Ḥazeh (“Breast”). Binah

חוזה – תפארת: Ḥozeh (“Seer”). Tiferet.

חוט השדרה – קו האמצעי: Ḥut ha-Shidra (“Spinal Cord”). The middle line.

חוטם – תפארת: Ḥotam (“Nose”). Tiferet.

חוליא – שכינה, עם ג׳‎ אבות: Ḥulia (“Link”). Shekhinah¹⁴I.e., Malkhut. with the three “Patriarchs.”

חום היום – נהירו דחסד: Ḥom ha-Yom (“Heat of the Day”). The brightness of Ḥesed.

חומה – מלכות: Ḥomah (“Wall”). Malkhut.

חוסן – תפארת: Ḥosen (“Riches”). Tiferet.

חופה – כתר, גג שלה חכמה, וכותלה בינה. פתחיה, גדולה וגבורה.עמודיה, נצח והוד. ותחתיה חתן כלה ושושבין, תפארת ומלכות ויסוד: Ḥuppah (“Canopy”). Keter. Its roof is Ḥokhmah; its walls are Binah; its doors are Gedulah and Gevurah; its pillars are Neẓaḥ and Hod; underneath it are the bridegroom, the bride, and the attendant: Tiferet and Malkhut and Yesod.

חוקקי ישראל – אבא ואמא מאצילי התפארת: Ḥokkekei Yisrael (“Legislators of Israel”). “Father” and “Mother”¹⁵Ḥokhmah and Binah. from the emanators of Tiferet.

חותם – בינה חכמה תפארת: Ḥotam (“Seal”). Binah, Ḥokhmah, Tiferet.

חזוא די ליליא – גבריאל: Ḥazu (“Foretelling”). Of the night; Gabriel.

חזיון – התפארת עם המלכות: Ḥizzuk (“Strengthening”). Tiferet with Malkhut.

חזחזית – תפארת העקר במלכות: Ḥazhazit (“Lichen”?). Tiferet removed in Malkhut.

חטה – מלכות: Ḥitah (“Wheat”). Malkhut.

חטא – זכר נחש: Ḥet (“Sin”). Male Serpent.¹⁶Samael, the evil counterpart, on the “Other Side,” to the sefirah Tiferet. Cf. Zohar I, 147a-148b.

חטאת – נקבה אשת זנונים: Ḥattat (“Sin”). Female, Woman of Whoredom.¹⁷Lilith, Samael’s consort.

חי – יסוד: Ḥai (“Living”). Yesod.

חיה – מלכות: Ḥayyah (“Living” [fem.]). Malkhut.

חיי המלך – חכמה ובינה: Ḥayyei ha-Melekh (“Life of the King”), Ḥokhmah and Binah.

חיים – שלש ראשונות: Ḥayyim (“Life”). The first three [sefirot].

חיך – חכמה: Ḥiyekh (“Smile”). Ḥokhmah.

חילי – אין סוף: Ḥeli (“My Host”). Eyn Sof.

חיל – חכמה דאיהי יו״ד: Ḥayil (“Virtue”). Ḥokhmah which is yod.

חירות – בינה: Ḥerut (“Freedom”). Binah.

חורין – חכמה ובינה: Ḥorin (“Free”). Ḥokhmah and Binah.

חלב – שפע הנשפע מכתר, דרך החכמה אל הבינה: Ḥalav (“Milk”). The abundance which emanates from Keter through Ḥokhmah to Binah.

חלה – מלכות: Ḥallah (“Consecrated Dough”). Malkhut.

חלום – המלכות מצד עצמה: Ḥalom (“Dream”). Malkhut from her own side.

חלון – תפארת: Ḥalon (“Window”). Tiferet.

חלצים – יחוד התפארת עם המלכות, בין נצח והוד: Ḥalaẓaim (“Loins”). The union of Tiferet with Malkhut between Neẓah and Hod.

חם – מצד הגבורה: Ḥam (“Warm”). From the side of Gevurah.

חמדת הימים – היא השכינה: Ḥemdat Yamim (“Love of Life”). She is the Shekhinah.

חמה – תפארת: Ḥammah (“Sun”). Tiferet.

חמשה – הרמז לתפארת, או מלכות: Ḥamishah (“Five”). The hint is to Tiferet or Malkhut.

חנון – בחסד, והעיקר בבינה. חסד במקומו, ובכתר, ובנצח ובהוד, ואלו הם: Ḥanun (“Merciful”). In Ḥesed and the essence in Binah.

כתר חסד עלאה, נצח הוד חסדי דוד: Ḥessed (“Kindness”). In its place and in Keter and in Neẓah and in Hod. They are: Keter [is] the upper Ḥesed. Neẓaḥ, Hod [are] “The Kindnesses of David.”¹⁸Cf. Isa. 55:3.

חסיד – חכמה בחסד: Ḥassid (“Pious”). Ḥokhmah in Ḥesed.

חסידה – בינה על חסד, או מלכות מצד חסד: Ḥassidah (“Stork”). Binah over Ḥesed or Malkhut from the side of Ḥesed.

חפץ – מלכות מצד הת״ת בשפע הכתר: Ḥafeẓ (“Possession”). Malkhut from the side of Tiferet in the emanation of Keter.

חפשי – בינה: Ḥofshi (“Free”). Binah.

חצות לילה – מלכות מצד הרחמים: Ḥaẓẓot Laylah (“Midnight”). Malkhut from the side of Mercy.

חצי – מצד המלכות שהיא מצה פרוסה: Ḥaẓẓi (“Half”). From the side of Malkhut which is a portion of Matzah.¹⁹This is a reference to the ceremonial breaking of a matzah at the Passover Seder.

חצים – מצד היסוד: Ḥizzim (“Arrows”). From the side of Yesod.

חצוצרות כסף – נצח והוד מצד החסד: Ḥaẓẓoẓrot Kessef (“Silver Trumpets”). Neẓaḥ and Hod from the side of Ḥesed.

חצרות ה׳‎ – ז׳‎ מדות: Ḥaẓerot Ha[Shem] (“Courts of the Lord”). The seven [lower sefirotic] qualities.

חק – יסוד: Ḥok (“Law”). Yesod.

חקה – מלכות: Ḥukkah (“Decree”). Malkhut.

חקות – כחות המלכות למטה: Ḥukkot (“Laws”). The powers of Malkhut below.

חקר – מלכות: Ḥeker (“Inquiry”). Malkhut.

חרב – גבורה, והעיקר כל יהו״ה, או מלכות: Ḥerev (“Sword”). Gevurah and essentially all YDVH or Malkhut.

חשך – במלכות ובגבורה ובכתר, ובחוץ: Ḥoshekh (“Darkness”). In Malkhut and in Gevurah and in Keter and in the “Outside.”

חשמל – נצח הוד, וסוד יאהדונה״י: Ḥashmal (“Electrum”). Neẓaḥ, Hod; the mystery of [the Name] YAHDVNHY.

חשקיהם – נצח הוד: Ḥeshkehem (“Their Desire”). Neẓaḥ, Hod.

חתן – תפארת: Ḥatan (“Bridegroom”). Tiferet.
