Commentary by Gershom ben Yehudah (Mainz, c. 960 - c.1028). Rabbeinu Gershom is best known for his takkanot, ordinances, banning polygamy, requiring both parties to agree to a divorce, and forbidding people to remind those who were forced to convert to Christianity of their conversions.
