Commentary of R' Moshe Alshikh on Solomon's Song of Songs, based on his lectures. It was the first to appear in print, and was edited by Alshikh himself in 1591. Like many other commentators, he understands the Song to be an allegory which represents a dialogue between God and the exiled nation of Israel.
