רנ) ואלמלא אקדים וכו': ואם היה מקדים הצד האחר בלילה הזה, מטרם שיקדים הצד הטוב, לא היה יכול העולם לעמוד בפניהם אפילו רגע אחד, אבל הקב"ה הקדים רפואה, וקדוש היום דלג לפניו, והקדים לבא לפני הצד האחר, ונתקיים העולם. ומה שחשב הצד האחר להבנות בעולם להתחזק, נבנה בלילה הזה הצד הטוב ונתחזק, שנבנו גופים ורוחות קדושים, בלילה הזה, מצד הטוב. ומשום זה עונתם של חכמים, היודעים זה, הוא משבת לשבת. 250. “If he had given precedence, etc.”
If He had given precedence to the other side [Sitra Aḥara] on that night, before giving precedence to ‎the good side, the world would not be able to stand before them for even a moment. However, the Holy One, blessed be He, had made the remedy precede [the blow], for He had the sanctification of the day skip before Him, and precede to come before the other side, and the world was perpetuated. As for the intention of the other side, to be established and strengthened in the world, the good side was established and ‎strengthened on that night, as holy bodies and spirits were constructed on that night from the good side. ‎For this reason, the time [for marital relations] of wise people, who know this, is from Shabbat to Shabbat, [once a week]. ‎
