Tractate Yoma (“The Day,” referring to Yom Kippur) is located in Seder Moed (“the Order of Festivals”). It consists of four chapters; the first three discuss the preparation for and service of the High Priest in the Temple on Yom Kippur day. The last chapter discusses the laws of fasting, other prohibitions of Yom Kippur, and the process of repentance.
