Materials for Students
Independent learning and individualization is made easier with the use of Sefaria's library and sheets.
Two examples of materials delivered directly to students are showcased below.

The Sefaria Student Course consists of three lessons.
Lesson #1: What Can I Find On Sefaria? - Students are introduced to the Sefaria library. Students learn how to click through interconnected sources and master the skill by participating in an online scavenger hunt.
Lesson #2: Where Is It? Finding the Perfect Texts on Sefaria - Students develop their skills in searching for texts in the Sefaria library. They find texts using Sefaria’s search capabilities and the topic feature. Each student assembles texts that interest them on a topic of their choice.
Lesson #3: Have You Heard My Favorite Song? - Creating a Sefaria Source Sheet - Students build their own source sheets based on a favorite song. They add texts from the Sefaria library, outside texts, media, and comments to their sheets.
The Teacher's Guide to Sefaria's Student Course provides you with links to all of the lessons along with step-by-step instructions for successfully introducing the lessons to your students.

Each activity in the collection focuses on a different set of skills that develop your students' independent learning skills. Topics include an introduction to the structure of the Torah and the system of weekly Torah portions, meeting the Mishnah, and decoding a daf of Talmud.
The activities can be used as written, adapted, or used as inspiration for the creation of your own lessons.
