Chiddushei HaRim on Talmud is a 19th-century commentary by Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Rotenberg-Alter, founder of the Ger Chasidic dynasty. In an introduction, Alter’s grandson, who published the work, writes that his grandfather began writing the commentary at age 17. The work’s style is similar to that of other acharonim of his period: lengthy and analytical, often delving into the nuances of Rashi’s language and its conceptual implications.
