אִם־בָּרֵ֨ךְ תְּבָרְכֵ֜נִי

וְהִרְבִּ֤יתָ אֶת־גְּבוּלִי֙

וְהָיְתָ֤ה יָדְךָ֙ עִמִּ֔י

וְעָשִׂ֥יתָ מֵּרָעָ֖ה לְבִלְתִּ֣י עׇצְבִּ֑י

I Chronicles 4:10
(10) Jabez invoked the God of Israel, saying, “Oh, bless me, enlarge my territory, stand by me, and make me not suffer pain from misfortune!” And God granted what he asked.

הוֹדִ֥יעוּ בָעַמִּ֖ים עֲלִילֹתָֽיו׃

שִׁ֤ירוּ לוֹ֙ זַמְּרוּ־ל֔וֹ

שִׂ֖יחוּ בְּכׇל־נִפְלְאֹתָֽיו׃

הִֽתְהַלְלוּ֙ בְּשֵׁ֣ם קׇדְשׁ֔וֹ

יִשְׂמַ֕ח לֵ֖ב מְבַקְשֵׁ֥י יְהֹוָֽה׃

דִּרְשׁ֤וּ יְהֹוָה֙ וְעֻזּ֔וֹ

בַּקְּשׁ֥וּ פָנָ֖יו תָּמִֽיד׃

זִכְר֗וּ נִפְלְאֹתָיו֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָׂ֔ה

מֹפְתָ֖יו וּמִשְׁפְּטֵי־פִֽיהוּ׃

זֶ֚רַע יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל עַבְדּ֔וֹ

בְּנֵ֥י יַעֲקֹ֖ב בְּחִירָֽיו׃

ה֚וּא יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ

בְּכׇל־הָאָ֖רֶץ מִשְׁפָּטָֽיו׃

זִכְר֤וּ לְעוֹלָם֙ בְּרִית֔וֹ

דָּבָ֥ר צִוָּ֖ה לְאֶ֥לֶף דּֽוֹר׃

אֲשֶׁ֤ר כָּרַת֙ אֶת־אַבְרָהָ֔ם

וּשְׁבוּעָת֖וֹ לְיִצְחָֽק׃

וַיַּעֲמִידֶ֤הָ לְיַֽעֲקֹב֙ לְחֹ֔ק

לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בְּרִ֥ית עוֹלָֽם׃

לֵאמֹ֗ר לְךָ֙ אֶתֵּ֣ן אֶֽרֶץ־כְּנָ֔עַן

חֶ֖בֶל נַחֲלַתְכֶֽם׃

בִּהְיֽוֹתְכֶם֙ מְתֵ֣י מִסְפָּ֔ר

כִּמְעַ֖ט וְגָרִ֥ים בָּֽהּ׃

וַיִּֽתְהַלְּכוּ֙ מִגּ֣וֹי אֶל־גּ֔וֹי

וּמִמַּמְלָכָ֖ה אֶל־עַ֥ם אַחֵֽר׃

לֹֽא־הִנִּ֤יחַ לְאִישׁ֙ לְעׇשְׁקָ֔ם

וַיּ֥וֹכַח עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם מְלָכִֽים׃

אַֽל־תִּגְּעוּ֙ בִּמְשִׁיחָ֔י

וּבִנְבִיאַ֖י אַל־תָּרֵֽעוּ׃

שִׁ֤ירוּ לַֽיהֹוָה֙ כׇּל־הָאָ֔רֶץ

בַּשְּׂר֥וּ מִיּֽוֹם־אֶל־י֖וֹם יְשׁוּעָתֽוֹ׃

סַפְּר֤וּ בַגּוֹיִם֙ אֶת־כְּבוֹד֔וֹ

בְּכׇל־הָעַמִּ֖ים נִפְלְאֹתָֽיו׃

כִּי֩ גָד֨וֹל יְהֹוָ֤ה וּמְהֻלָּל֙ מְאֹ֔ד

וְנוֹרָ֥א ה֖וּא עַל־כׇּל־אֱלֹהִֽים׃

כִּ֠י כׇּל־אֱלֹהֵ֤י הָֽעַמִּים֙ אֱלִילִ֔ים

וַיהֹוָ֖ה שָׁמַ֥יִם עָשָֽׂה׃

ה֤וֹד וְהָדָר֙ לְפָנָ֔יו

עֹ֥ז וְחֶדְוָ֖ה בִּמְקֹמֽוֹ׃

הָב֤וּ לַֽיהֹוָה֙ מִשְׁפְּח֣וֹת עַמִּ֔ים

הָב֥וּ לַיהֹוָ֖ה כָּב֥וֹד וָעֹֽז׃

הָב֥וּ לַֽיהֹוָ֖ה כְּב֣וֹד שְׁמ֑וֹ

שְׂא֤וּ מִנְחָה֙ וּבֹ֣אוּ לְפָנָ֔יו

הִשְׁתַּחֲו֥וּ לַֽיהֹוָ֖ה בְּהַדְרַת־קֹֽדֶשׁ׃

חִ֤ילוּ מִלְּפָנָיו֙ כׇּל־הָאָ֔רֶץ

אַף־תִּכּ֥וֹן תֵּבֵ֖ל בַּל־תִּמּֽוֹט׃

יִשְׂמְח֤וּ הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ וְתָגֵ֣ל הָאָ֔רֶץ

וְיֹאמְר֥וּ בַגּוֹיִ֖ם יְהֹוָ֥ה מָלָֽךְ׃

יִרְעַ֤ם הַיָּם֙ וּמְלוֹא֔וֹ

יַעֲלֹ֥ץ הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה וְכׇל־אֲשֶׁר־בּֽוֹ׃

אָ֥ז יְרַנְּנ֖וּ עֲצֵ֣י הַיָּ֑עַר

מִלִּפְנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֔ה כִּי־בָ֖א לִשְׁפּ֥וֹט אֶת־הָאָֽרֶץ׃

הוֹד֤וּ לַֽיהֹוָה֙ כִּ֣י ט֔וֹב כִּ֥י לְעוֹלָ֖ם חַסְדּֽוֹ׃

וְאִמְר֕וּ

הוֹשִׁיעֵ֙נוּ֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׁעֵ֔נוּ

וְקַבְּצֵ֥נוּ וְהַצִּילֵ֖נוּ מִן־הַגּוֹיִ֑ם

לְהֹדוֹת֙ לְשֵׁ֣ם קׇדְשֶׁ֔ךָ

לְהִשְׁתַּבֵּ֖חַ בִּתְהִלָּתֶֽךָ׃

בָּר֤וּךְ יְהֹוָה֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל

מִן־הָעוֹלָ֖ם וְעַ֣ד הָעֹלָ֑ם

וַיֹּאמְר֤וּ כׇל־הָעָם֙

אָמֵ֔ן

וְהַלֵּ֖ל לַיהֹוָֽה׃

I Chronicles 16:8-36
(8) “Praise the LORD;
call on His name;
proclaim His deeds among the peoples. (9) Sing praises unto Him;
speak of all His wondrous acts. (10) Exult in His holy name;
let all who seek the LORD rejoice. (11) Turn to the LORD, to His might;
seek His presence constantly. (12) Remember the wonders He has done;
His portents and the judgments He has pronounced, (13) O offspring of Israel, His servant,
O descendants of Jacob, His chosen ones. (14) He is the LORD our God;
His judgments are throughout the earth. (15) Be ever mindful of His covenant,
the promise He gave for a thousand generations, (16) that He made with Abraham,
swore to Isaac, (17) and confirmed in a decree for Jacob,
for Israel, as an eternal covenant, (18) saying,‘To you I will give the land of Canaan
as your allotted heritage.’ (19) You were then few in number,
a handful, merely sojourning there, (20) wandering from nation to nation,
from one kingdom to another. (21) He allowed no one to oppress them;
He reproved kings on their account, (22) ‘Do not touch My anointed ones;
do not harm My prophets.’
 (23) “Sing to the LORD, all the earth.
proclaim His victory day after day. (24) Tell of His glory among the nations,
His wondrous deeds among all peoples. (25) For the LORD is great and much acclaimed,
He is held in awe by all divine beings. (26) All the gods of the peoples are mere idols,
but the LORD made the heavens. (27) Glory and majesty are before Him;
strength and joy are in His place.
 (28) “Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the peoples,
ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. (29) Ascribe to the LORD the glory of His name,
bring tribute and enter before Him,
bow down to the LORD majestic in holiness. (30) Tremble in His presence, all the earth!
The world stands firm; it cannot be shaken. (31) Let the heavens rejoice and the earth exult;
let them declare among the nations, “The LORD is King!” (32) Let the sea and all within it thunder,
the fields and everything in them exult; (33) then shall all the trees of the forest shout for joy
at the presence of the LORD,
for He is coming to rule the earth. (34) Praise the LORD for He is good;
His steadfast love is eternal. (35) Declare:
Deliver us, O God, our deliverer,
and gather us and save us from the nations,
to acclaim Your holy name,
to glory in Your praise. (36) Blessed is the LORD, God of Israel, from eternity to eternity.” And all the people said, “Amen” and “Praise the LORD.”-f

מִֽי־אֲנִ֞י יְהֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹהִים֙

וּמִ֣י בֵיתִ֔י כִּ֥י הֲבִיאֹתַ֖נִי עַד־הֲלֹֽם׃

וַתִּקְטַ֨ן זֹ֤את בְּעֵינֶ֙יךָ֙ אֱלֹהִ֔ים

וַתְּדַבֵּ֥ר עַל־בֵּֽית־עַבְדְּךָ֖ לְמֵרָח֑וֹק

וּרְאִיתַ֗נִי כְּת֧וֹר הָאָדָ֛ם הַמַּעֲלָ֖ה

יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהִֽים׃

מַה־יּוֹסִ֨יף ע֥וֹד דָּוִ֛יד אֵלֶ֖יךָ לְכָב֣וֹד אֶת־עַבְדֶּ֑ךָ

וְאַתָּ֖ה אֶֽת־עַבְדְּךָ֥ יָדָֽעְתָּ׃

יְהֹוָ֕ה

בַּעֲב֤וּר עַבְדְּךָ֙ וּֽכְלִבְּךָ֔

עָשִׂ֕יתָ אֵ֥ת כׇּל־הַגְּדוּלָּ֖ה הַזֹּ֑את

לְהֹדִ֖יעַ אֶת־כׇּל־הַגְּדֻלּֽוֹת׃

יְהֹוָה֙ אֵ֣ין כָּמ֔וֹךָ

וְאֵ֥ין אֱלֹהִ֖ים זוּלָתֶ֑ךָ

בְּכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־שָׁמַ֖עְנוּ בְּאׇזְנֵֽינוּ׃

וּמִי֙ כְּעַמְּךָ֣ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל

גּ֥וֹי אֶחָ֖ד בָּאָ֑רֶץ

אֲשֶׁר֩ הָלַ֨ךְ הָאֱלֹהִ֜ים לִפְדּ֧וֹת ל֣וֹ עָ֗ם

לָשׂ֤וּם לְךָ֙ שֵׁ֚ם גְּדֻלּ֣וֹת וְנֹרָא֔וֹת

לְגָרֵ֗שׁ מִפְּנֵ֧י עַמְּךָ֛ אֲשֶׁר־פָּדִ֥יתָ מִמִּצְרַ֖יִם גּוֹיִֽם׃

וַ֠תִּתֵּ֠ן אֶת־עַמְּךָ֨ יִשְׂרָאֵ֧ל ׀ לְךָ֛ לְעָ֖ם עַד־עוֹלָ֑ם

וְאַתָּ֣ה יְהֹוָ֔ה הָיִ֥יתָ לָהֶ֖ם לֵאלֹהִֽים׃

וְעַתָּ֣ה יְהֹוָ֔ה

הַדָּבָ֗ר אֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבַּ֤רְתָּ עַֽל־עַבְדְּךָ֙ וְעַל־בֵּית֔וֹ

יֵאָמֵ֖ן עַד־עוֹלָ֑ם

וַעֲשֵׂ֖ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבַּֽרְתָּ׃

וְ֠יֵאָמֵ֠ן וְיִגְדַּ֨ל שִׁמְךָ֤ עַד־עוֹלָם֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר

יְהֹוָ֤ה צְבָאוֹת֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֱלֹהִ֖ים לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל

וּבֵית־דָּוִ֥יד עַבְדְּךָ֖ נָכ֥וֹן לְפָנֶֽיךָ׃

כִּ֣י ׀ אַתָּ֣ה אֱלֹהַ֗י גָּלִ֙יתָ֙ אֶת־אֹ֣זֶן עַבְדְּךָ֔ לִבְנ֥וֹת ל֖וֹ בָּ֑יִת

עַל־כֵּן֙ מָצָ֣א עַבְדְּךָ֔ לְהִתְפַּלֵּ֖ל לְפָנֶֽיךָ׃

וְעַתָּ֣ה יְהֹוָ֔ה אַתָּה־ה֖וּא הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים

וַתְּדַבֵּר֙ עַֽל־עַבְדְּךָ֔ הַטּוֹבָ֖ה הַזֹּֽאת׃

וְעַתָּ֗ה הוֹאַ֙לְתָּ֙ לְבָרֵךְ֙ אֶת־בֵּ֣ית עַבְדְּךָ֔ לִֽהְי֥וֹת לְעוֹלָ֖ם לְפָנֶ֑יךָ

כִּֽי־אַתָּ֤ה יְהֹוָה֙ בֵּרַ֔כְתָּ וּמְבֹרָ֖ךְ לְעוֹלָֽם׃

I Chronicles 17:16-27
(16) Then King David came and sat before the LORD, and he said, “What am I, O LORD God, and what is my family, that You have brought me thus far? (17) Yet even this, O God, has seemed too little to You; for You have spoken of Your servant’s house for the future. You regard me as a man of distinction,-c O LORD God. (18) What more can David add regarding the honoring of Your servant? You know Your servant. (19) O LORD, for Your servant’s sake, and of Your own accord,-c You have wrought this great thing, and made known all these great things. (20) O LORD, there is none like You, and there is no other God but You, as we have always heard. (21) And who is like Your people Israel, a unique nation on earth, whom God went and redeemed as His people, winning renown for Yourself for great and marvelous deeds, driving out nations before Your people whom You redeemed from Egypt. (22) You have established Your people Israel as Your very own people forever; and You, O LORD, have become their God. (23) “And now, O LORD, let Your promise concerning Your servant and his house be fulfilled forever; and do as You have promised. (24) Let it be fulfilled that Your name be glorified forever, in that men will say,‘The LORD of Hosts, God of Israel, is Israel’s God’; and may the house of Your servant David be established before You. (25) Because You, my God, have revealed to Your servant that You will build a house for him, Your servant has ventured to pray to You. (26) And now, O LORD, You are God and You have made this gracious promise to Your servant. (27) Now, it has pleased You to bless Your servant’s house, that it abide before You forever; for You, O LORD, have blessed and are blessed forever.”

דברי הימים א כ״א:ח׳

חָטָ֣אתִֽי מְאֹ֔ד אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשִׂ֖יתִי אֶת־הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֑ה

וְעַתָּ֗ה הַֽעֲבֶר־נָא֙ אֶת־עֲו֣וֹן עַבְדְּךָ֔ כִּ֥י נִסְכַּ֖לְתִּי מְאֹֽד׃

I Chronicles 21:8
(8) David said to God, “I have sinned grievously in having done this thing; please remit the guilt of Your servant, for I have acted foolishly.”

הֲלֹא֩ אֲנִ֨י אָמַ֜רְתִּי לִמְנ֣וֹת בָּעָ֗ם

וַאֲנִי־ה֤וּא אֲשֶׁר־חָטָ֙אתִי֙ וְהָרֵ֣עַ הֲרֵע֔וֹתִי

וְאֵ֥לֶּה הַצֹּ֖אן מֶ֣ה עָשׂ֑וּ

יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהַ֗י תְּהִ֨י נָ֤א יָֽדְךָ֙ בִּ֚י וּבְבֵ֣ית אָבִ֔י

וּֽבְעַמְּךָ֖ לֹ֥א לְמַגֵּפָֽה׃

I Chronicles 21:17
(17) David said to God, “Was it not I alone who ordered the numbering of the people? I alone am guilty, and have caused severe harm; but these sheep, what have they done? O LORD my God, let Your hand fall upon me and my father’s house, and let not Your people be plagued!”

כִּי־מִמְּךָ֣ הַכֹּ֔ל וּמִיָּדְךָ֖ נָתַ֥נּוּ לָֽךְ׃

כִּֽי־גֵרִ֨ים אֲנַ֧חְנוּ לְפָנֶ֛יךָ

כַּצֵּ֧ל ׀ יָמֵ֛ינוּ עַל־הָאָ֖רֶץ

רָאִ֥יתִי בְשִׂמְחָ֖ה לְהִֽתְנַדֶּב־לָֽךְ׃

יְהֹוָ֗ה

אֱ֠לֹהֵ֠י אַבְרָהָ֞ם יִצְחָ֤ק וְיִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אֲבֹתֵ֔ינוּ

שׇׁמְרָה־זֹּ֣את לְעוֹלָ֔ם

לְיֵ֥צֶר מַחְשְׁב֖וֹת לְבַ֣ב עַמֶּ֑ךָ

וְהָכֵ֥ן לְבָבָ֖ם אֵלֶֽיךָ׃

וְלִשְׁלֹמֹ֣ה בְנִ֗י תֵּ֚ן לֵבָ֣ב שָׁלֵ֔ם

לִשְׁמוֹר֙ מִצְוֺתֶ֔יךָ עֵדְוֺתֶ֖יךָ וְחֻקֶּ֑יךָ

וְלַעֲשׂ֣וֹת הַכֹּ֔ל

וְלִבְנ֖וֹת הַבִּירָ֥ה אֲשֶׁר־הֲכִינֽוֹתִי׃

I Chronicles 29:10-20
(10) David blessed the LORD in front of all the assemblage; David said, “Blessed are You, LORD, God of Israel our father, from eternity to eternity. (11) Yours, LORD, are greatness, might, splendor, triumph, and majesty—yes, all that is in heaven and on earth; to You, LORD, belong kingship and preeminence above all. (12) Riches and honor are Yours to dispense; You have dominion over all; with You are strength and might, and it is in Your power to make anyone great and strong. (13) Now, God, we praise You and extol Your glorious name. (14) Who am I and who are my people, that we should have the means to make such a freewill offering; but all is from You, and it is Your gift that we have given to You. (15) For we are sojourners with You, mere transients like our fathers; our days on earth are like a shadow, with nothing in prospect. (16) O LORD our God, all this great mass that we have laid aside to build You a House for Your holy name is from You, and it is all Yours. (17) I know, God, that You search the heart and desire uprightness; I, with upright heart, freely offered all these things; now Your people, who are present here—I saw them joyously making freewill offerings. (18) O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, remember this to the eternal credit of the thoughts of Your people’s hearts, and make their hearts constant toward You. (19) As to my son Solomon, give him a whole heart to observe Your commandments, Your admonitions, and Your laws, and to fulfill them all, and to build this temple for which I have made provision.” (20) David said to the whole assemblage, “Now bless the LORD your God.” All the assemblage blessed the LORD God of their fathers, and bowed their heads low to the LORD and the king.

אַתָּ֗ה עָשִׂ֛יתָ עִם־דָּוִ֥יד אָבִ֖י חֶ֣סֶד גָּד֑וֹל

וְהִמְלַכְתַּ֖נִי תַּחְתָּֽיו׃

עַתָּה֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהִ֔ים

יֵֽאָמֵן֙ דְּבָ֣רְךָ֔ עִ֖ם דָּוִ֣יד אָבִ֑י

כִּ֤י אַתָּה֙ הִמְלַכְתַּ֔נִי עַל־עַ֕ם רַ֖ב כַּעֲפַ֥ר הָאָֽרֶץ׃

עַתָּ֗ה

חׇכְמָ֤ה וּמַדָּע֙ תֶּן־לִ֔י

וְאֵ֥צְאָ֛ה לִפְנֵ֥י הָעָם־הַזֶּ֖ה וְאָב֑וֹאָה

כִּֽי־מִ֣י יִשְׁפֹּ֔ט אֶת־עַמְּךָ֥ הַזֶּ֖ה הַגָּדֽוֹל׃

II Chronicles 1:8-10
(8) Solomon said to God, “You dealt most graciously with my father David, and now You have made me king in his stead. (9) Now, O LORD God, let Your promise to my father David be fulfilled; for You have made me king over a people as numerous as the dust of the earth. (10) Grant me then the wisdom and the knowledge to lead this people,-b for who can govern Your great people?”

אֲשֶׁ֣ר נָתַן֩ לְדָוִ֨יד הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ בֵּ֣ן חָכָ֗ם יוֹדֵ֙עַ֙ שֵׂ֣כֶל וּבִינָ֔ה

(11) Huram continued, “Blessed is the LORD, God of Israel, who made the heavens and the earth, who gave King David a wise son, endowed with intelligence and understanding, to build a House for the LORD and a royal palace for himself. II Chronicles 6:1-10
(1) Then Solomon declared:
“The LORD has chosen
To abide in a thick cloud; (2) I have built for You
A stately House,
And a place where You
May dwell forever.” (3) Then, as the whole congregation of Israel stood, the king turned and blessed the whole congregation of Israel. (4) He said,“Blessed is the LORD God of Israel, who made a promise to my father David and fulfilled it.-b For He said, (5) ‘From the time I brought My people out of the land of Egypt, I never chose a city from among all the tribes of Israel to build a House where My name might abide; nor did I choose anyone to be the leader of my people Israel. (6) But then I chose Jerusalem for My name to abide there, and I chose David to rule My people Israel.’ (7) “Now my father David had wanted to build a House for the name of the LORD God of Israel. (8) But the LORD said to my father David, ‘As for your wanting to build a House for My name, you do well to want that. (9) However, you shall not build the House; your son, the issue of your loins, he shall build the House for My name.’ (10) Now the LORD has fulfilled the promise that He made. I have succeeded my father David and have ascended the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised. I have built the House for the name of the LORD God of Israel,

וְיָדְךָ֣ הַחֲזָקָ֔ה וּֽזְרוֹעֲךָ֖ הַנְּטוּיָ֑ה

וּבָ֥אוּ וְהִֽתְפַּֽלְל֖וּ אֶל־הַבַּ֥יִת הַזֶּֽה׃

וְאַתָּ֞ה תִּשְׁמַ֤ע מִן־הַשָּׁמַ֙יִם֙ מִמְּכ֣וֹן שִׁבְתֶּ֔ךָ

וְעָשִׂ֕יתָ כְּכֹ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־יִקְרָ֥א אֵלֶ֖יךָ הַנׇּכְרִ֑י

לְמַ֣עַן יֵדְעוּ֩ כׇל־עַמֵּ֨י הָאָ֜רֶץ אֶת־שְׁמֶ֗ךָ

וּלְיִרְאָ֤ה אֹֽתְךָ֙ כְּעַמְּךָ֣ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל

וְלָדַ֕עַת כִּֽי־שִׁמְךָ֣ נִקְרָ֔א עַל־הַבַּ֥יִת הַזֶּ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר בָּנִֽיתִי׃

כִּֽי־יֵצֵ֨א עַמְּךָ֤ לַמִּלְחָמָה֙ עַל־אֹ֣יְבָ֔יו

בַּדֶּ֖רֶךְ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּשְׁלָחֵ֑ם

וְהִתְפַּֽלְל֣וּ אֵלֶ֗יךָ דֶּ֣רֶךְ הָעִ֤יר הַזֹּאת֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בָּחַ֣רְתָּ בָּ֔הּ

וְהַבַּ֖יִת אֲשֶׁר־בָּנִ֥יתִי לִשְׁמֶֽךָ׃

וְשָֽׁמַעְתָּ֙ מִן־הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם אֶת־תְּפִלָּתָ֖ם וְאֶת־תְּחִנָּתָ֑ם

וְעָשִׂ֖יתָ מִשְׁפָּטָֽם׃

כִּ֣י יֶחֶטְאוּ־לָ֗ךְ

כִּ֣י אֵ֤ין אָדָם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹא־יֶחֱטָ֔א

וְאָנַפְתָּ֣ בָ֔ם וּנְתַתָּ֖ם לִפְנֵ֣י אוֹיֵ֑ב

וְשָׁב֧וּם שׁוֹבֵיהֶ֛ם אֶל־אֶ֥רֶץ רְחוֹקָ֖ה א֥וֹ קְרוֹבָֽה׃

וְהֵשִׁ֙יבוּ֙ אֶל־לְבָבָ֔ם בָּאָ֖רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נִשְׁבּוּ־שָׁ֑ם

וְשָׁ֣בוּ ׀ וְהִֽתְחַנְּנ֣וּ אֵלֶ֗יךָ בְּאֶ֤רֶץ שִׁבְיָם֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר

חָטָ֥אנוּ הֶעֱוִ֖ינוּ וְרָשָֽׁעְנוּ׃

וְשָׁ֣בוּ אֵלֶ֗יךָ בְּכׇל־לִבָּם֙ וּבְכׇל־נַפְשָׁ֔ם

בְּאֶ֥רֶץ שִׁבְיָ֖ם אֲשֶׁר־שָׁב֣וּ אֹתָ֑ם

וְהִֽתְפַּֽלְל֗וּ דֶּ֤רֶךְ אַרְצָם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נָתַ֣תָּה לַאֲבוֹתָ֔ם

וְהָעִיר֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בָּחַ֔רְתָּ

וְלַבַּ֖יִת אֲשֶׁר־בָּנִ֥יתִי לִשְׁמֶֽךָ׃

וְשָׁמַעְתָּ֨ מִן־הַשָּׁמַ֜יִם מִמְּכ֣וֹן שִׁבְתְּךָ֗

אֶת־תְּפִלָּתָם֙ וְאֶת־תְּחִנֹּ֣תֵיהֶ֔ם

וְעָשִׂ֖יתָ מִשְׁפָּטָ֑ם וְסָלַחְתָּ֥ לְעַמְּךָ֖ אֲשֶׁ֥ר חָטְאוּ־לָֽךְ׃

יִֽהְיוּ־נָ֤א עֵינֶ֙יךָ֙ פְּתֻח֔וֹת

וְאׇזְנֶ֖יךָ קַשֻּׁב֑וֹת

לִתְפִלַּ֖ת הַמָּק֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃

וְעַתָּ֗ה

קוּמָ֞ה יְהֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹהִים֙ לְֽנוּחֶ֔ךָ

אַתָּ֖ה וַאֲר֣וֹן עֻזֶּ֑ךָ

כֹּהֲנֶ֜יךָ יְהֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹהִים֙ יִלְבְּשׁ֣וּ תְשׁוּעָ֔ה

וַחֲסִידֶ֖יךָ יִשְׂמְח֥וּ בַטּֽוֹב׃

יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהִ֔ים אַל־תָּשֵׁ֖ב פְּנֵ֣י מְשִׁיחֶ֑ךָ

זֳכְרָ֕ה לְחַֽסְדֵ֖י דָּוִ֥יד עַבְדֶּֽךָ׃

II Chronicles 6:14-42
(14) and said, “O LORD God of Israel, there is no god like You in the heavens and on the earth, You who steadfastly maintain the Covenant with Your servants who walk before You with all their heart; (15) You who have kept the promises You made to Your servant, my father David; You made a promise and have fulfilled it—as is now the case. (16) And now, O LORD God of Israel, keep that promise that You made to Your servant, my father David, ‘You shall never lack a descendant in My sight sitting on the throne of Israel if only your children will look to their way and walk in the [path] of My teachings as you have walked before Me.’ (17) Now, therefore, O God of Israel, let the promise that You made to Your servant, my father David, be confirmed. (18) “Does God really dwell with man on earth? Even the heavens to their uttermost reaches cannot contain You; how much less this House that I have built! (19) Yet turn, O LORD my God, to the prayer and supplication of Your servant, and hear the cry and the prayer that Your servant offers to You. (20) May Your eyes be open day and night toward this House, toward the place where You have resolved to make Your name abide; may You heed the prayers that Your servant offers toward this place. (21) And when You hear the supplications that Your servant and Your people Israel offer toward this place, give heed in Your heavenly abode—give heed and pardon. (22) “If a man commits an offense against his fellow, and an oath is exacted from him, causing him to utter an imprecation against himself, and he comes with his imprecation before Your altar in this House, (23) may You hear in heaven and take action to judge Your servants, requiting him who is in the wrong by bringing down the punishment of his conduct on his head, vindicating him who is in the right by rewarding him according to his righteousness. (24) “Should Your people Israel be defeated by an enemy because they have sinned against You, and then once again acknowledge Your name and offer prayer and supplication to You in this House, (25) may You hear in heaven and pardon the sin of Your people Israel, and restore them to the land that You gave to them and to their fathers. (26) “Should the heavens be shut up and there be no rain because they have sinned against You, and then they pray toward this place and acknowledge Your name and repent of their sins, because You humbled them, (27) may You hear in heaven and pardon the sin of Your servants, Your people Israel, when You have shown them the proper way in which they are to walk, and send down rain upon the land that You gave to Your people as their heritage. (28) So, too, if there is a famine in the land, if there is pestilence, blight, mildew, locusts, or caterpillars, or if an enemy oppresses them in any of the settlements of their land.
“In any plague and in any disease, (29) any prayer or supplication offered by any person among all Your people Israel—each of whom knows his affliction and his pain—when he spreads forth his hands toward this House, (30) may You hear in Your heavenly abode, and pardon. Deal with each man according to his ways as You know his heart to be—for You alone know the hearts of all men— (31) so that they may revere You all the days that they live on the land that You gave to our fathers. (32) “Or if a foreigner who is not of Your people Israel comes from a distant land for the sake of Your great name, Your mighty hand, and Your outstretched arm, if he comes to pray toward this House, (33) may You hear in Your heavenly abode and grant whatever the foreigner appeals to You for. Thus all the peoples of the earth will know Your name and revere You, as does Your people Israel; and they will recognize that Your name is attached to this House that I have built. (34) “When Your people take the field against their enemies in a campaign on which You send them, and they pray to You in the direction of the city which You have chosen and the House which I have built to Your name, (35) may You hear in heaven their prayer and supplication and uphold their cause. (36) “When they sin against You—for there is no person who does not sin—and You are angry with them and deliver them to the enemy, and their captors carry them off to an enemy land, near or far; (37) and they take it to heart in the land to which they have been carried off, and repent and make supplication to You in the land of their captivity, saying, ‘We have sinned, we have acted perversely, we have acted wickedly,’ (38) and they turn back to You with all their heart and soul, in the land of their captivity where they were carried off, and pray in the direction of their land which You gave to their fathers and the city which You have chosen, and toward the House which I have built for Your name— (39) may You hear their prayer and supplication in Your heavenly abode, uphold their cause, and pardon Your people who have sinned against You. (40) Now My God, may Your eyes be open and Your ears attentive to prayer from this place, and now, (41) Advance, O LORD God, to your resting-place,
You and Your mighty Ark.
Your priests, O LORD God, are clothed in triumph;
Your loyal ones will rejoice in [Your] goodness. (42) O LORD God,
do not reject Your anointed one;
remember the loyalty of Your servant David.”

עׇזְרֵ֜נוּ יְהֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙

כִּֽי־עָלֶ֣יךָ נִשְׁעַ֔נּוּ וּבְשִׁמְךָ֣ בָ֔אנוּ עַל־הֶהָמ֖וֹן הַזֶּ֑ה

יְהֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ אַ֔תָּה אַל־יַעְצֹ֥ר עִמְּךָ֖ אֱנֽוֹשׁ׃

II Chronicles 14:10
(10) Asa called to the LORD his God, and said, “O LORD, it is all the same to You to help the numerous and the powerless. Help us, O LORD our God, for we rely on You, and in Your name we have come against this great multitude. You are the LORD our God. Let no mortal hinder You.”

II Chronicles 20:6-12
(6) He said, “LORD God of our fathers, truly You are the God in heaven and You rule over the kingdoms of the nations; power and strength are Yours; none can oppose You. (7) O our God, you dispossessed the inhabitants of this land before Your people Israel, and You gave it to the descendants of Your friend Abraham forever. (8) They settled in it and in it built for You a House for Your name. They said, (9) ‘Should misfortune befall us—the punishing sword, pestilence, or famine, we shall stand before this House and before You—for Your name is in this House—and we shall cry out to You in our distress, and You will listen and deliver us.’ (10) Now the people of Ammon, Moab, and the hill country of Seir, into whose [land] You did not let Israel come when they came from Egypt, but they turned aside from them and did not wipe them out, (11) these now repay us by coming to expel us from Your possession which You gave us as ours. (12) O our God, surely You will punish them, for we are powerless before this great multitude that has come against us, and do not know what to do, but our eyes are on You.”

יְהֹוָ֥ה הַטּ֖וֹב יְכַפֵּ֥ר בְּעַֽד׃

כׇּל־לְבָב֣וֹ הֵכִ֔ין לִדְר֛וֹשׁ הָאֱלֹהִ֥ים ׀ יְהֹוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֣י אֲבוֹתָ֑יו

וְלֹ֖א כְּטׇהֳרַ֥ת הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃

II Chronicles 30:18-19
(18) For most of the people—many from Ephraim and Manasseh, Issachar and Zebulun—had not purified themselves, yet they ate the paschal sacrifice in violation of what was written. Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, “The good LORD will provide atonement for (19) everyone who set his mind on worshiping God, the LORD God of his fathers, even if he is not purified for the sanctuary.”
