(י) וְֽהַנָּשִׂ֑יא בְּתוֹכָ֤ם בְּבוֹאָם֙ יָב֔וֹא וּבְצֵאתָ֖ם יֵצֵֽאוּ׃
(10) And as for the prince, he shall enter with them when they enter and leave when they leave.

(ז) תַּ֣חַת אָ֔וֶן רָאִ֖יתִי אׇהֳלֵ֣י כוּשָׁ֑ן יִרְגְּז֕וּן יְרִיע֖וֹת אֶ֥רֶץ מִדְיָֽן׃
(7) As a scene of havoc I beholdc
The tents of Cushan;
Shaken are the pavilions
Of the land of Midian!

3. tipcha ; etnachta .

(ו) וַיָּ֣עׇף אֵלַ֗י אֶחָד֙ מִן־הַשְּׂרָפִ֔ים וּבְיָד֖וֹ רִצְפָּ֑ה בְּמֶ֨לְקַחַ֔יִם לָקַ֖ח מֵעַ֥ל הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃
(6) Then one of the seraphs flew over to me with a live coal, which he had taken from the altar with a pair of tongs.

(י) בַּחֶ֣רֶב יָמ֔וּתוּ כֹּ֖ל חַטָּאֵ֣י עַמִּ֑י הָאֹמְרִ֗ים לֹֽא־תַגִּ֧ישׁ וְתַקְדִּ֛ים בַּעֲדֵ֖ינוּ הָרָעָֽה׃
(10) All the sinners of My people
Shall perish by the sword,
Who boast,
“Never shall the evil
Overtake us or come near us.”

(ה) וַיְהִ֕י כַּאֲשֶׁר־נִלְחֲמ֥וּ בְנֵֽי־עַמּ֖וֹן עִם־יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיֵּֽלְכוּ֙ זִקְנֵ֣י גִלְעָ֔ד לָקַ֥חַת אֶת־יִפְתָּ֖ח מֵאֶ֥רֶץ טֽוֹב׃
(5) And when the Ammonites attacked Israel, the elders of Gilead went to bring Jephthah back from the Tob country.

(ג) הֲרָרִי֙ בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה חֵילְךָ֥ כׇל־אוֹצְרוֹתֶ֖יךָ לָבַ֣ז אֶתֵּ֑ן בָּמֹתֶ֕יךָ בְּחַטָּ֖את בְּכׇל־גְּבוּלֶֽיךָ׃
(3) Because of the sin of your shrines
Throughout your borders,
I will make your rampart a heap in the field,
And all your treasures a spoil.-b

  • All t'amim are placed under the first letter of the accented syllable, following the vowel, if any.
  • Munach may rarely appear twice before etnachta, e.g., Amos 3:8. (Vayeshev)
