דְּרוֹר יִקְרָא לְבֵן עִם בַּת.
וְיִנְצָרְכֶם כְּמוֹ בָבַת.
נְעִים שִׁירְכֶם וְלֹא יֻשְׁבַּת.
שְׁבוּ וְנוּחוּ בְּיוֹם שַׁבָּת.
דְּרוֹשׁ נָוִי וְאוּלָמִי.
וְאוֹת יֶשַׁע עֲשֵׂה עִמִּי.

My god, grant to the desert mountain,
Fir, acacia, myrtle, elm,
And to the leader and the led,
spread peace like the river waters.
Cast down my enemies, O zealous God,
In fear and with broken hearts,
And our mouths will open, and we'll fill
our tongues with song to you.
Know that wisdom for your soul
is like a crown for your head.
Keep the commandment of your Holy One,
Guard the holy Sabbath.

(8) Seek My resting place, and My sanctuary,
(9) and a sign of deliverance, make for me.
(10) Plant a branch within my vineyard,
(11) consider the cry of my people.
(12) Trample the wine-press within Botzrah
(13) and also Babylon which grew powerful.
(14) Destroy my adversaries with anger and rage,
(15) hear my voice on the day I call.
(16) God, cause the wilderness to blossom
(17) with myrtle, acacia, cypress and elm
(18) to those who encourage Sabbath observance
(19) and to those who preserve the Sabbath—
(20) give them [abundant] peace
(21) as the waters of a flowing river.
(22) Crush those who stand up against me
(23) Almighty of vengeance,
(24) [smite them] with melting hearts and grief.
(25) May we open our mouth wide
(26) and let it be filled [with praise]
(27) our tongue will sing joyous songs to You.

I will set cypresses in the desert,
Box trees and elms as well—
Then your prosperity would be like a river,
Your triumph like the waves of the sea.
And bring them down where they stand.
Your curse be upon them!
